Nationality
You must be a citizen of a country participating in the Visa Waiver Program. This includes, among others, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and most other EU states.
Valid Passport

Purpose and Length of Stay

Travel Route
Entry must be by air or sea with a participating airline or shipping company. You generally also need a valid ESTA for a layover in the USA – details in our transit guide.
